Wishlists encourage users to sign up for an account who wouldn't have otherwise. These prospects can be engaged in drip marketing campaigns if they opt-in for email marketing, driving urgency with products low in inventory, and recommending similar products.

Problem
Without a comfortable depot between browsing and purchasing, users remove items from their carts and Alo loses business. A wishlist services shoppers at their commitment level, increasing the likelihood of a later purchase and providing valuable customer data.
